How I got into Affiliate Marketing

To be perfectly honest I didn’t even know what affiliate marketing was until I came across it by chance on the internet 8 years ago.

I was a bit of a ‘card shark’ in the past (still play the odd game) and thought I would chance my arm at playing it online. At the time I had no idea of any names of poker sites on the internet so I just did what most people do when looking for something on the web and used a search engine.
I typed my query into google – Something like ‘online poker’ and of course up popped a load of search results.
Keen to get playing at the time I clicked on one of the top google results for partypoker.com
After being directed to the site I quickly signed up deposited a small amount of cash and starting whipping up the other players ( LOL I wish, but thats another story ).

After having a great time playing poker online for several weeks I decided to have a look around the site for some bonuses. Whilst browsing, just by chance I came across this page : you can view it here
I was intrigued and a little taken aback by what I read at first
It was then a bit of a eureka moment when I realised that some lucky guy had probably made money from me clicking around on the internet.  I knew I wanted a piece of that!
